Welcome to the 2016 McCormack Career Fair!
Being the only sport management-specific career fair at UMass Amherst, the McCormack Career Fair is an excellent opportunity for both freshmen and upperclassmen to get their foot in the door and to further their professional career in the sport industry. Last year's fair hosted about 35 organizations seeking to provide internships or full-time positions to UMass students enrolled in one of the nation's best sport programs.

Prior to founding BLUE United, Nakamura served as an original employee with LeadOff Sports Marketing becoming an industry leader in developing business relationships between Western countries and the Asian continent. In this role, Nakamura worked with a variety of corporate and sports-related clients across a wide-range of properties. A few notable examples would be representing the Italian football legend Alessando Del Piero in Japan, and orchestrated one of the largest seven figure, multi-year partnership deals between New York Red Bulls and Yanmar in 2015.
In 2015, Nakamura was recognized by University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Isenberg School of Management, Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management's “Alumni-on-the-Rise Award”, designed to honor the achievement of select alumni who graduated in five to 10 years ago, and have already made a mark on the industry.
In addition, Nakamura is an invited lecturer at the Columbia University and ISDE's Global Sports Law and Sports Management Companion Program in New York City. He is also one of the only two FIFA-licensed Match Agents in Japan, serves MLS as a consultant in players and international relations for the Asian market, and assists J.League (Japan Professional Football League) Human Capital as its international business development adviser.
